Kozmenko INTERACTIONS OF ECONOMIC AND DEFENSE INTERESTS ON ARCTIC WATER AREAS The transition processes have negatively influenced both economic activities and the defence sector in the Russian Arctic. The article considers potentialities of stabilization and further traffic development on Arctic water areas and ensuring force presence of Russia in this strategic zone. A special attention is paid to issues of defense sites diversification and their interactions in the economic field. A.M.Vasiliev, A.M.Fadeev EFFECTIVE DIRECTIONS OF STATE REGULATIONS FOR DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES OF HYDROCARBON DEPOSITS ON THE ARCTIC SEA SHELF The necessity for the State to take its part in regulating the development processes of Arctic shelf hydrocarbon deposits is substantiated. The main directions of improving the State regulations for oil-and-gas complex of Russia as well as using the rent payments are revealed.
