There are a monumen t installed in honor of the man after whom the settlement was named, the submariner of the w a r period, Fedor Vidyaev; a m em o ria l complex in honor of submariners died in the ocean eternalizing memo ry of the submariners who worked at the K-131 nu­ clear submarine and submarine cruiser Kursk, a monumen t in honor of the High North defend­ ers during the Great Patriotic War. St. Nicholas Church, built in m em o ry of the perished subma ­ riners of the nuclear submarine missile cruiser Kursk, has a status of a monumen t too. Бережно относятся видяевцы и своей истории. В поселке установлены памятник человеку, давшему имя населенному пун­ кту — подводнику военной поры Фёдору Алексеевичу Видяеву, мемориальный ком­ плекс «Подводникам, погибшим в океане», увековечивший память подводников атом­ ных субмарин К-131 и подводного крейсе­ ра «Курск», памятник защитникам Заполя­ рья в годы Великой Отечественной войны.
