Grigoriev MODELING OF THE RESULTS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC SOUNDING WITH A POWERFUL EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY SOURCE IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE KOLA PENINSULA The paper presents the results of interpretation of the experimental data of electromagnetic sounding with a powerful extremely low frequency source in the central part of the Kola Peninsula. Three dimensional modeling of nonhomogeneous ground by the method of grid approximation of Maxwell’s equations has been performed for interpretation of the experimental data. The results of modeling essentially are specified by regional tectonic faults, connected through the Barents Sea. It was demonstrated that utilizing of phase measurements of magnetic field are useful for localization of faults in the ground. Fastiy DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL MEASURES FOR SAVING POWER CITY ELECTRIC NETWORKS IN THE MURMANSK REGION The technical measures for saving power in electric distribution networks have been considered. The analysis of their using in municipal schemes 6 and 10 kV of Murmansk region has been carried out. It is shown that the introduction of energy conservation measures considered to significantly increase the efficiency of electrical power and obtain significant economic effect. Shishaev MODERN METHODS OF THE MULTIDOMAIN WEB RESOURCES BASED VISUALIZATION AND PROCESSING OF FORMALIZED SEMANTICS The paper deals with modern methods of creating multidomain Web resources based on a formalized representation, processing and visualization of semantic information. Special attention is paid writers to modern approaches to the visualization of "multidimensional" information, and the problems of ensuring the relevance of search queries. As a fundamental mechanism for creating high web resources based on a formalized representation of semantics, the authors proposed the concept of "user as an expert", providing the creation of self-adjusting intellectualized information systems with feedback. Application of these methods is considered as an example multidomain Web resource based on the information supporting of Arctic territory of the Russian Federation. The technology is based on simulation modelling of cooperation among enterprises and investors. This technology provides synthesis and analysis acceptable scenarios of enterprises network development depending on given sizes and forms of investments. M.A. Tarakanov ECONOMIC STUDIES IN THE KOLA BASE AND THEIR RENEWAL IN THE KOLA BRANCH OF THE USSR ACADEMY OF SCIENCES (N.M. TOTSKIY, G.N. SOLOVYANOV, I.T. KUZMIN, B.I. KOGAN) The work is based on many factors, which are published for the first time. Acquaintance with the real documents from 1930s and early 1950s made it possible to seriously correct a numner of widespread conceptions of organizing economic studies in the Kola base and the Kola Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences during these periods.
