В работе конгресса приняли участие более 1200 участников из 23 стран мира и 73 регионов России, в их числе сотрудники Центра гуманитарных проблем Баренц региона ФИЦ КНЦ РАН. Организаторами конгресса в 2025 году стали Администрация губернатора Пермского края, Ассоциация этнологов и антропологов России, Институт этнологии и антропологии им. Н. Н. Миклухо-Маклая РАН, Институт гуманитарных исследований УрО РАН (филиал ФГБУН «Пермский федеральный исследовательский центр УрО РАН») и Пермский государственный гуманитарно-педагогический университет. Традиционно в рамках конгресса обсуждались достижения мировой и отечественной этнологии и антропологии. Suleymanova Barents Centre of the Humanities of the Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Apatity, Russia, sul-olesya@yandex.ru, https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5109-958X Abstract The article presents an overview of the XVI Congress of Anthropologists and Ethnologists of Russia (KAER), which was held on July 2 -6, 2025, in Perm. More than 1,200 participants from 23 countries and 73 regions of Russia took part in the congress, including employees of the Barents Region Center for Humanitarian Problems of the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The organizers of the congress in 2025 were the Administration of the Perm Krai Governor, the Association of Ethnologists and Anthropologists of Russia, the N.N. Miklouho-Maclay Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Humanitarian Research of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (branch of the Perm Federal Research Center of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences), and the Perm State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University. Traditionally, the congress discussed the achievements of world and domestic ethnology and anthropology.
