1 О «ТОПОЛОГИЧЕСКИХ АСПЕКТАХ ФОРМАЦИОННОГО АНАЛИЗА» Ю.В. КАЗИЦЫНА ON YU.V. KAZITSYN'S «TOPOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF FORMATION ANALYSIS» The article by Dr. Sci. (Geol.-mineral.), Prof. Yu.L. Voytekhovsky reports on Yu.V. Kazitsyn's paper «Topological aspects offormation analysis» standing out of his well-known publications on the hydrathermal deposits metasomatism and the conjugate oreformation. In the paper Yu.V. gives a bright example of the heuristic analogy based on the similarity of Euler's major equation for convex polyhedra and the Gibbs' rule of phase equilibrium. The latter has been extrapolated by the author on hierarchically composed geological systems and is now the only relation between figures of the degree offreedom, components, phases, «serviyas» (a complex offacies gradually transforming one into another and forming a single geographical phenomenon), «nimiyas» (a complex o f serviyas gradually transforming one into another andforming major geographical areas), facies, formations... within them. The experimental checking of Yu.V.'s equation requires a more relevant definition of the above categories of the formation analysis. Рис. 1. Initiated and ran the Organizing Committee of I-IV All-Soviet Conferences on metasomatism (Leningrad, 1963-1976). Participant of International Geological Congresses on ChSSR and Canada. Worked in the Chinese People's Republic, Nepal. Author of the original lecture course on the periore metasomatism delivered in the Leningrad Mining Institute (1968-1974). А есть личности, встреча с которыми не состоялась, и об этом ты жалеешь столь же сильно. Для меня таковыми являются А.Б. Вистелиус, Ю.А. Косыгин, Ю.В. Казицын (рис. 1 ) . Последний известен как спе­ циалист по метасоматизму гидротермальных ме­ сторождений. В 1977 г., поступив на ГРФ ЛГИ, я много слышал о его курсе лекций, незадолго до того прочитанном в Горном институте, и который мне уже не дано было прослушать. А много позд-
