Представлены геоэкономические особенности транспортировки природного газа в условиях современной России, и выполнена оценка конкурентных позиций России на энергетических рынках Европы и Китая при использовании трубопроводных поставок с позиций методологических принципов пространственной экономики. Обосновывается экономическая целесообразность диверсификации средств доставки природного газа в Китай при сложившейся экономической конъюнктуре. При этом одной из задач модернизации экономики России является создание инфраструктуры внедрения и промышленной реализации инноваций главным образом в экспортно-ориентированных отраслях хозяйства. С учетом растущего значения сжиженного природного газа речь идет о приобретении контроля над технологиями производства и доставки именно в этой сфере, что, имея в виду общую сырьевую направленность экономики России в пределах существующего горизонта планирования и развивающуюся либерализацию газового рынка ЕС и АТР, носит фундаментальный стратегический характер. GEO-ECONOMIC SPECIFICITY OF DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL GAS TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN RUSSIA A. A. Shchegolkova, PhD (Economics), Associate Professor, Senior Researcher G. P. Luzin Institute for Economic Studies of the Kola Science Centre of the RAS, Apatity, Russia Abstract. We have considered the geo-economic specificity of natural gas transportation under the conditions of modern Russia, and evaluated the competitive positions of Russia on the European and Chinese energy markets when using pipeline supplies from the standpoint of methodological principles of the spatial economy. Economic feasibility of the diversification of the means of natural gas delivery to China under the current economic conditions, was substantiated. At the same time one of the objectives of modernizing the Russian economy is creation of introduction infrastructure and industrial implementation of innovations mainly in the export-oriented industries. With a glance to increasing importance of liquefied natural gas, the discussion is about the control over the production technologies and deliveries in this shpere primarily, which are of fundamental and strategic nature, because of the Russian overall raw-material-oriented economy within the current planning horizon and growing liberalization of the EU and the Asia-Pacific gas markets.
