Современное состояние экономики регионов Украины характеризуется наличием ряда системных проблем, прежде всего социально-экономических, для решения которых необходимо привлечение дополнительных внутренних и внешних инвестиционных ресурсов. Особое внимание необходимо обратить на состояние промышленных регионов, которое характеризуется экономическим спадом основных отраслей традиционной специализации производства, что обусловлено сложностями трансформации и адаптации этих отраслей к современным условиям и, как следствие, низким уровнем конкурентоспособности продукции на рынках сбыта. Проведенный анализ литературных источников показывает, что в настоящее время понятие «трансформация» трактуется достаточно широко и применяется ко всем типам существенных изменений 69
