Обсуждается проблема оценки образовательного потенциала населения региона и его использования. Предложена модель уровня образовательного потенциала региона на основе статистического подхода изучения данных Всероссийской переписи населения и ежегодных статданных по субъектам РФ. Определена возрастная структура образовательного потенциала в зависимости от года рождения и уровня достигнутого образования. Обнаружено, что значимым эффектом является естественное движение в рамках возрастных групп населения с определенным уровнем образовательного потенциала. EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF THE REGION’S POPULATION THROUGH STATISTICS OF THE NATIONAL POPULATION CENSUS O. V. Potasheva researcher M. V. The article discusses the problem of evaluation of the educational potential of the region's population and its use. A model for the level of educational potential of the region on the basis of statistical approach to studying the national population census data and annual statistics on regions of the Russian Federation is proposed. The age structure of the educational potential, depending on the year of birth and educational level is determined. It is found out that a significant effect is the natural movement within age groups with certain levels of educational potential.
