Международный инфраструктурный крупномасштабный проектпо ремонту автодороги в Мурманской области: первые итоги. International infrastructural large-scale project on road reconstruction (Murmansk region): first results Автомобильная дорога Кандалакша – Ала- куртти – КПП «Салла» проходит с востока на запад в западной части Мурманской обла- сти в направлении государственной границы с Финляндией. Данная дорога является доро- гой регионального значения и обеспечивает автотранспортной связью населённые пун- кты западной части Кандалакшского района с г. Кандалакша, а также обеспечивает между- народную связь России с Финляндией. Ïðîåêò «Ðåêîíñòðóêöèÿ äîðîãè Êàíäàëàêøà-Àëàêóðò- òè-Ñàëëà (ñåêòîð 100-130 êì)», ïîëó÷èë ôèíàíñèðîâàíèå èç ïðîãðàììû ïðèãðàíè÷íîãî ñîòðóäíè÷åñòâà â ðàìêàõ åâ- Road Kandalaksha – Alakurtti – checkpoint “Salla” from east to west is located in the western part of Murmansk region in the direction of state border with Finland. This motorway has both regional and international significance: it provides motor connection between settlements of the western part of Kandalaksha district and Kandalaksha itself, as well as supplies international connection between Russia and Finland. Project “Reconstruction of road Kandalaksha – Alakurtti – Salla (sector 100-130 km)” has been financed by the programme of Cross-Border Cooperation within European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument “Kolarctic” (“ENPI-CBC Kolarctic”). The leading partner of the project is “Murmanskavtodor” company; partners are ANO “Project Management Office”, Salla municipality, Center for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Lapland. Informational and institutional support is provided by Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Murmansk region and Ministry of Economic Development of the Murmansk region. General goal of the project is to contribute to the development of transport infrastructure and, consequently, to social and economic development of Barents region. Specific goal is to make reconstruction of road sectors 100-130 km of motorway Salla – Alakurtti for providing barrier-free and mutually benefit cross-boarding from Russian Federation to European Union. All possible results could be divided into 2 groups: short- termed and long-termed. Short-termed results: 1. Reconstruction of road sections 2.
