Rosneft and NOVATEK intend to build the ir bases and production fac ilities the re . Gazprom is back to the Shtokman field . And 45 years ago everything s ta rted out with your ex ­ plorations and discoveries. Therefore, I should like to s ta rt this ta lk with a brief historical overview. 4 - Yes, that’s the truth. In fact, MAGE was at the root of sedimentary basin develop­ ment of the Western Arctic Shelf of Russia. Its establishment in 1972 has laid founda­ tion of a systematic study of the Barents and Kara seas geology and later on it led to the discovery of the richest oil and gas pro­ vince. During the first five years the Expedi­ tion succeeded in detecting of 38 local highs including large structures: Murmanskaya, Severo-Kildinskaya, Pomorskaya, Seve- ro-Gulyaevskaya, Varandeyskaya, Prira- zlomnaya, Leningradskaya, Rusanovskaya, MURMANSK MILE • 4-2018
