Среди стран-наблюдателей А р ктич е с ко го совета Франция, Германия, Италия, Япония, Н и ­ дерланды, КНР, Республика К о ­ рея (Южная Корея), Испания и Великобритания в 2013-2018 гг. утвердили свои А р ктич е с кие политики/стратегии. Наиболее популярными направлениями в стратегиях стран-наблюдате- лей являются наука и образова­ ние, охрана окружающей среды (включая изменение климата), международное сотрудничество и соглашения, а также э кономика, более или менее в соответствии с официальными приоритетами и политическими целями этих государств. Соответственно, ч е ­ ловеческое измерение, б е з о ­ пасность, включая суверенитет, о б о р о н у и туризм относятся к числу редко встречающихся на­ правлений.
