Correlative a n a l y s i s . As is k n o w n as early as in the 60-s a close r e l a t i o n b e t w e e n the phenomena o b served i n the solar w i n d and aotce g e o m a g n e ­ tic processes was distinguished. As a basic c h aracteristic we have chosen the three h o u r pl a n e t a r y K p - i n d e x and its derivative Kp. One of the first wo r k s indicating the correlative rel a t i o n s h i p of the aolar w i n d ve l o c i t y to the m a gnetospheric a c t i v i t y /9/ is the work, where: S K p O ( K M / s ) - ^ 3 0 ± 1 7 ) ] / ( 8 , 4 4 ± 0 . 7 4 ) . Subsequently, a n u m b e r of other relations o f the K p - i n d e x to the parameters of the int e r p l a n e t a r y m e d i u m w a s e s t a blished /10,11/. In this w o r k we shall try to find the r e l a t i o n of the solar w i n d v elocity V to K p d e pending o n the lunar phase in or d e r to e s t a b l i s h wh e t h e r the magne t o h y d r o d y n a m i c a l wake of the M o o n c hanges this r e l a t i o n by the aero day.
