At these very m o m e n t a the tendency of "reversion" of the IMP polarity ap p e a r s ( A ~ T or T--A, A - f r o m the Sun, T - to the Sun). A and T are sampled f r o m the ground-based data /8/. Por instance, 112 "reversions" or polarity disturbances of the A — A T — A or T — ТА— I type of the investigated p eriods were observed during 1972-1984. The frequency of 77 per cent ia als o a n i n d i c a t i o n for the disturbing effect of the lunar ps e u d o - magnetosphe r e w h i c h has an effect on the variations of the magnetic field components measured fo r polar latitudes. Such three periods of sharp IMP polarity ch a n g e on the zero day (in Ja n u a r y 1977) and one day before the new M o o n (in June and in July 1975) are de m o n s t r a t e d in P i g . 2.
