С. М. Кирова, Поляр. геофиз. ин-т и др. – Препринт ПГИ 80-1. – Апатиты : [б. и.],1980. - 58 с.

The electric field horizontal component diminished to 3 mV/m. The balloon 25 МЕР reached the altitude of 32 km by 0000 UT. Since this time weak X-ray fluxee were register ed by the X-ray detector onboard the balloon. Shortly after that at 0010 UT X-ray emission was registered by the spect rometer onboard the balloon 23 МЕР. The balloons were at a distance of 500 km along the longitude. The electric field registered by the western balloon was greater (17 mV/m) while its average value registered on the eastern one was 5 mV/m. The disturbance of the magnetic field reached 250f • This moderate activity lasted until 0200 UT. The precipita tion had a pulsating structure typical for morning hours. Since 0100 UT, except few moments, measurements were carried out by the balloon 25 МЕР. The electric field and X-ray emission were registered until 1020 (Pig.14/• The electric field value oscillated from 5 to 20 mV/m irregular ly during the whole period. Between 0800 and 0625 UT a pulsating train with 5 min.period was registered. Plux in tensification of X-ray emission was registered from 0400 to 1020 UT. Particle precipitation had a complex temporal structure. 5 min.duration bursts, periods of pulsation shorther than 25 sec. and microbursts were recorded. It should be noted that the first precipitation between 0000 and 0200 UT was registered simulteneously with the intensification of the captured and precipitated particle fluxes onboard the satellite "GEOS-2", wnile* the last precipitation at 0400 UT was registered much later. The intensification began at 0220 UT on "GE0S-2n. At first the balloon seemed to be located far to the south of the precip itating region. The precipitation was registered on the balloon when the particle precipitating region expanded southward. Discussions and coec I u g .ons. Magnetic activity of different levels was observed during the discussed events. The activity was weak during the night on March 5-6, while it was much greater on March 6-7 and January 23-24, 197У- Varied information was obtained during the development of 37
