A linguistic approach for description and interpreta­ tion of hydrometeorological fields data is w orked out. The structure of descriptive language, its vocabulary and graiaaar, a n d some model descriptions individual parts of atmospheric process are considered. The language grammar is proposed, w h i c h m a y be used to study objects dynamic cha­ racteristic.
