The systematized ecological characteristics of the Euro-Arctic region lakes are presented. This part of the catalogue contains the basic hydrographic, morphometric, hydrochemical and hydrobiological description of 147 lakes o f the Barents Sea watershed and gives information about the lake stocking of the East and North-East area of the Murmansk region. Each lake description contains: an effluent or flow river name, coordinates, height above sea level, area of a lake and its watershed, maximum length and width, investigation period, chemical characteristics o f waters and sediments, the estimation and state of the main biological communities (phytoplankton, zooplankton, benthos, ichthyofauna). The catalogue is intended for water ecosystem investigations specialists, locals, those, who accomplish practical activity in the east part of the Murmansk region, students and environmental services staff.
