The highest values (very high) o f degree o f contamination (Cd) have been noticed for the Kantojarvi and Si- erramjarvi due to very high contamination o f sediments by Pb, Cd and As. The considerable values of Cd have been found in the bulk o f the investigated lakes, and only Aittojarvi, Nammi- jarvi, Kantojarvi, Pahtajarvi have moderate values o f Cd. Table 10.
