SEASONAL CYCLES IN PLANTS A seasonal development cycle in plants is made up of successive, morphologically discrete stages or periods. Each stage comprises several seasonal (phenological) development phases (Solovyov, 2005a; Terent- jeva, 2008; Sinel’nikova and Pakhomov, 2015).
