personnel. We have performed such an analysis proceeding from the results of the activity of “Sevrybkholodflot” in 1986-1990. It is the only enterprise in the fish industry, and in the world, which exerts production and transporting activity. 3.6.1. Basic Data, Methods of Analysis, and Its Results Table 1 shows the dynamics of labor productivity, the number of personnel and the volume of goods produced by “Sevrybkholodflot” over the year of the 12th five-year period. Table. 1. Volume of Production, Labor Productivity, and the Number of Personnel in “Sevrybkholodflot,” 1986-1990 Indexes 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 Commercial products, 249.2 249.2 237.3 233.5 279.6 234.0 million roubles Number of personnel: 6741 6431 6409 6696 7454 6840 production personnel, number Labor productivity: 36968 38 750 37 025 34 869 37 510 34 211 output of commercial goods per worker occupied in the production process, in roubles This generalized table was compiled according to the annual accounts of the economic and financial activity of “Sevrybkholodflot” for 1986-1990 in proportion to the technical, economic and financial plan and the documentation presented by the economic laboratory of the fleet. We proceed from the data given in the accounts of the corresponding years since the payments and labor stimulation were made according to these data. The consecutive analysis of the proportions of the increase (reduction) of the commercial production, which are the consequences of changes that occurred in labor productivity and in the number of industrial personnel, is based on the data given in Table 1. To make the calculations more convenient, we convert the numbers given in this table into percent dynamic series (with an accuracy up to the second decimal digit) and write them in Table 2. We take the accounts for the last year of the preceding five-year period as reference data. For the sake of brevity, we shall name the indexes of Table 2 in all the subsequent tables as “Production,” “Output,” and “Workers.” 8 5
