Fishing fleets, for instance, are not only the producers of goods for export but also carry out chartering and exchange operations, commercial fishing in the zones of coastal states, inter­ voyage technical service of our ships in foreign ports, participate in joint ventures. There are also many other directions of foreign economic activity connected with the work of ships which are now outside the zone of management of the fleets although they are constituent parts of the reproduction process. 1 4 9
