Other condition was about free commodity circulation, aspired by the Russian side in order to prevent hit of the goods through the Swedish firms in the countries o f the German-Austrian block. It is necessary to mention, that the attitude to increase in Russian export to Sweden in the conditions o f Russian governmental, military, diplomatic figures and commercial and industrial circles representatives was ambiguous. In 1917, before the end of the war, businessmen actively promoted wider trade development with a new Scandinavian country. They aspired to use as much favourable military conjuncture as possible to expand and make their positions stable in the post-war Swedish market. Their attitude was sympathized and supported by the Ministry o f Trade and industry as a whole. However, full estimation of these attitudes and interests was impossible. In autumn o f 1917 increased the economic destruction and revolutionary crisis in Russia destroyed practical development o f promising prospects o f economic cooperation between Russia and Sweden. 140
