BRIEF BIOGRAPHY 12 of Feb., 1944 Was bom in Murmansk 1958-1963 Studying in Leningrad Art school of V.V.Serov. 1963-1966 military service. 1966-1972 Studying in Leningrad Art Institute of I.E.Repin, Studio of monumental art. 1972 Arrived in Murmansk 1973 Was taken to Art Union of USSR. 1976-1980 Became a head of all-union youth creative group "Kola Nuclear" 1978 1st awarded laureate of Murmansk committee of Komsomol for the series of works about Murman 1978 —1983 Became the leading artist of Murmansk 1985-1989 Was a leader of zonal creative group "Soviet North" 1983-1992 Chairman of Murmansk board of Union of Artists RSFR 1995, 2007 Laureate of Murmansk region administration award for a series of works «Kola North.» 2001 Awarded as an «Honored Artist of Russia» 2006 He is awarded with a silver medal of the Academy of Arts of Russia. Laureate of award of Association of Creative Unions of Murmansk region Since 2008 a head of an Art Studio of Murmansk Regional Centre for arts and crafts Since 2000 he is a lecturer at the Murmansk State Pedagogical University.
