юз Fog in the mountains Over the mountains in the morning, like a cobweb, there hangs a thread of dark-blue fog, sunken into a familiar path, and soundlessly lost at the feet. From a distance the threatening retreats o f hardship are obedient and beautiful. But close up, they are proud and impolite, in order to preserve at least someone’s tracks. The tundra is taciturn and insolent for eight long months of the year, and flashes o f frostbitten squalls steal the Polar sun. It’s good to wake up at the crack o f dawn, covering your shoulders w ith a rucksack, and to set out on foot unhurriedly, in the cobweb o f dark-blue fog!
